Rota was not ready yet so did some ad-hoc work...
受け持ち場所シフトがまだ決まっていなかったので今日はちょこちょこと色々な仕事を・・・

Edging the lawn with sweet electric little machine called Spintrim.
Weeding and clearing plants that are creeping onto paths etc.
スピントリムという、電動のエッジカッターを初使用！
あとは雑草ぬいたり通り道にはみ出してきている植物を切ったり。

Very nice sunny day and we had a lot of visitors!　It supposed to rain a lot around here in the autumn, so I hope I will be lucky and have many days like this.
Nice to get back to actually do some gardening as I left my last job a month ago.
天気もよく温かく、いい日でした。ここデボンでは秋は雨が多いらしい。
前の仕事を１ヶ月前に辞めていたので、久しぶりに実際ガーデニングした。楽しいなー。


Local honey we sell in our tea shop, great stuff! (Come visit me if you wana try some.)
地元で作られているらしい蜂蜜は、うちのティールームにて販売してます。おいしいです。試したい方は是非来てください！

First day

Some really exciting stuff you might always expect on first day at work ; health and safety, fire alarms etc.... well, these are important so I should stop taking the piss really.
Ticks could cause Lyme Disease... anti-clockwise and upwards... (I didn't know about ticks at all 2 months ago)
お決まりのセイフティ講習でダニとダニで感染するライム病について読んだり・・・あとワラビの胞子には発がん性があるとかないとかで、ワラビによると思われる癌の症例が１件あるそうで、それはワラビを食べていた人に発症したとか・・・ヒイイ。

And some shopping for waterproofs and gloves.
あとは雨合羽買いに行ったり・・・

Guided tour in the garden, given by a really experienced gardener who saw how the garden was developed originally 60 years ago. Really interesting!
庭のなかも解説付きで案内してもらいました。

Now I have to keep my diary every day and I would like to do it on computer but now sure what software is the best for this; I basically want it sorted by date, and I have a set of things I write down every day (weather etc) so it would be nice to be able to sort everything according to these sub-headlines when I want it.
Anyone have good idea??
あと今日から毎日日記つけなきゃいけないんだけど、PCでやろうと思ってるんだけど、なんかいいソフトはないかなーと思ってます・・・日付ごと整理できて（月単位とかでまとめられて）、あと毎日書く情報ごと（天気や温度等）に整理もできたりして、写真もいれられて・・・
お勧めがあればぜひよろしく！

Tomorrow is going to be my first day of the three-year PGG Traineeship Scheme.
Still unpacking my boxes but managed to connect to the internet.
これから始まる３年間の見習い修行、ついに明日が初日です。まだ荷物の整理もできていませんがインターネットは何とかつながりました。

Had a walk around in the garden after it closed for visitors, such a luxury to have this amazing garden outside my accommodation.
閉演したあとに庭をしばし散策・・・　こんなすばらしい庭に取り囲まれて住むなんて豪勢なこってす。

I am going to write about what I learnt for the day and all sorts of gardening things, hope I'm not gona bore you too much!
