Glorious sun!! Model of nice autumn day.

とてーもいい天気！秋晴れとはこのことか。

On this very nice day, I started on the Spring Garden. And finished in the Spring Garden.

スプリング・ガーデンに始まり、スプリング・ガーデンに終わりました。

It is an area where visitors DO NOT come through very often as it’s off main paths. Therefore, under the circumstances (short of staff), the area is only given 4 hours every fortnight. Not nearly enough!

ここはあまりお客さんが来ないエリア　＋　こちら人手不足　＝　あまり手入れが行き届いていません。２週間に４時間とは！あまりにも短い・・・

I could have just weeded all day (never ending!) but I suggested pruning a wisteria going over a bridge and lifting the canopy of a cherry tree. Wisteria pruning must be one of the nicest jobs (if there is such thing, as I love weeding, planting and basically everything) It was very satisfactory day :)

一日中草取りでも良かったんですが、橋の上の藤の剪定と、桜の木の剪定を申し出て許可をいただきました。藤の剪定は楽しい仕事です。まー実はどんな仕事でも（ガーデニングなら）楽しいんだけどね。やはり変化があるといいですね。
